Among all the fears, atychiphobia is the most irrational fear any person can experience.
In general phobias make us believe that we cannot enjoy some situations in life like a person having fear of height will never enjoy high altitude places. Similarly, fear of failure makes our positive thinking paralyzed. Nobody wants to fail but some people have the capability to bear it. On the other hand, for some people failing creates a psychological threat that they lose the capacity to convert their failure into motivation or success.
This fear of failure causes them to unconsciously sabotage their chances of motivation in life.
Failing can evoke the feelings of:
People who suffer from fear of failure are inspired to ignore failing situations. The reason behind is not because they cannot manage the basic emotions of disappointment that occur in such experiences but because failing also makes them feel deep humiliation or shame.
Now let's discuss how any person develops this fear of failure. Well, it may come from parents as they have a huge impact on children's life either positive or negative. So many children learn a pattern from their parents in a negative way and fall into this fear.
Also, any traumatic incident in life can be one of the reasons for this fear that leads through the life of a person and creates continuous stress and anxiety problem.
Feeling of Perfectionism makes a person take less risk and they can develop the fear of failure where they are unacceptable to failure and creates an invisible bubble around them and fears to go out of it.
Now the question arises, can anybody who is suffering from this fear win over it ?
Well, the answer is yes, any person who wants to cope up with his fear of failure has the ability to overcome it.
They need to identify their thoughts, feelings and actions and then clarify it
To understand what is the actual meaning of failure as failure never teaches us to stop, it always gives us the reason to keep moving until you find success.
A boost to self esteem
Break the projects into smaller tasks so that they can be done easily
Focus is highly required
To establish a calm body and mind
And lastly to seek medical help if the fear is out of your control.
