Gross motor skill development: There are other stages of movement in a child’s growth period. These are the big movements such and standing up learning to walk and then run.
Activities for a child’s mental health:
Worry time: In this time, parent must ask their child to write down all the worries and discuss the solutions and how to overcome them.
Activity planning: Create an activity diary with your child and help them to schedule in some pleasurable and achievement related activities.
Talking about feelings: This is one of the most important parts where you can discuss about feelings and emotions with your child to understand what they are feeling and where they are lacking. This will help you to understand your child.
Being present: One should always make their child feel that you are always there for them. This will help your child feel protected and confident and it will help you to build a healthy relationship with your child.
Good things: Always teach your child to write down the good things first as it will develop a positive mindset and your child will start looking for better alternatives before falling into any kind of negativity.
Appreciation: This is one of the most important tools as parent must always appreciate their child for any small effort they make. Appreciation helps in building mental growth for a child.
